Lisa Boyd, Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Boyd has spent the last twenty-seven years of her career in the fields of affordable housing and community development in both management and consulting capacities.  Prior to joining the Alliance, she was principal of Lisa Boyd Consulting, LLC.  Ms. Boyd delivered a broad range of consulting services to these industries.  She provided housing development expertise to private, public, and non-profit clients; secured $41.4 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and raised $34.8 million in equity to finance affordable housing projects through the expert preparation and submission of LIHTC applications to New York State and New York City housing agencies; raised over $3 million in operating support for projects and developers; performed organizational and property management assessments; and offered technical assistance in writing and evaluating Request For Proposals, committee member training in contract development, evaluation, and review, and implementation training and support to housing development organizations and HOPE VI projects to public housing authorities, for profit developers and non-profit developers.  Ms. Boyd recruited senior staff and provided executive transition management support.  In addition, she was available for individual and team coaching and mentoring. She has a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
